Sandi... Looks like a nice price for a newer home with some breathing room.  When I think of California real estate it usually seems like the lots are tiny and the prices are way up there.

Hi Dan,

    It IS a good price for a brand new home, thanks to it's location in Corning.  Corning is about 30 minutes or so from Chico, which usually demands quite the premium, especially on acreage.   I think you would be surprised at the great variety of property we have in the Butte, Tehama and Glenn counties--  you'll find everything from those tiny, expensive lots to secluded, heavily wooded properties, to waterfront, or large ag parcels.  Chico, in particular, is working hard to protect it's "green line" in order to preserve some of those wide open spaces.
